Innovative Carding Solution For a Global Skincare Brand

With over 30 years expertise in skincare, this global brand is one of our longest clients, having worked with them for over 10 years. Throughout the year in 2021, we produced 36 million sachets for them alone, making them one of our biggest customers.
Changing requirements
Typically, for this brand we produce single sachets for sampling, however with changing requirements and the customer demand for a value offering, our client wanted to explore a multiple-use sachet format. They proposed the idea of a 3-step sachet booklet, so our teams produced an innovative card design to accompany the sachets.
Working collaboratively
Collaboratively, we created a 3-step sachet booklet concept which Design Plus have filled, carded, packed, and delivered to the client earlier this year. The client was thrilled with the finished result.
Facing challenges
When completing this project, we faced our own challenges with capacity, as there was a significant increase in demand for carding at the time. Our operations team worked tirelessly to ensure all projects worked synergistically to fulfil all briefs.
Doubling capabilities
Design Plus recognises that the demand is still significant and set to continue to grow throughout 2022 and beyond, and as a result are investing in a new carding machine, which doubles our capabilities.
