This premium beauty brand was created with the mission to provide every individual with the confidence to be their best. After working closely with our sister site Laleham Health & Beauty to produce their full-size retail products, the brand recognised our hard-working ethos and can-do attitude and we soon collaborated to create carded sample versions of their skincare range. Design Plus were delighted to continue the relationship and help with the product launch.
Sampling
Product sampling allows customers to try products at a low retail cost, prior to committing to a full-size purchase, which has become a key trend following Covid-19 according to Mintel.
Overcoming Challenges
During the sample stage, the client raised a concern regarding the strength of the glue, as it proved a little difficult to remove the sachet from the card. As a result, our teams sourced a lower tack glue with the end user in mind.
We ran trials and quality checks to ensure the substitute glue was sufficient. The success of this allowed us to solve the problem and put our customer’s mind at ease throughout the rest of the production process.
1.5 million sachets
In total, Design Plus have manufactured 1.5 million sachets across the brand’s tinted moisturiser in 14 shades and 11 new skincare product variants.
