From bottles to tubes and jars – we work with a number of well-established suppliers who have a fantastic range of sustainable solutions from PCR plastic, PLA, aluminium and glass as well as refillable resolutions.
What is PCR?
PCR stands for post-consumer regrind. It has recycled plastic that's been reclaimed from consumer use; essentially the plastic products which go into your recycle bins at home. This plastic goes through a rigorous cleaning process, and is then ground down before being reintroduced to the manufacturing steam. PCR is available in all types of plastic packaging from bottles, to jars and tubes at levels from 10% up to 100%. As of April 2022, the government will be introducing a plastic packaging tax on all plastic packaging containing less than 30% PCR, so as a contract manufacturer we encourage all of our customers to opt for PCR packaging solutions.
What is PLA?
PLA is Polylactic Acid and is a compostable Biopolymer derived from renewable sources such as cornstarch, maize, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp. PLA production uses 65% less energy than the manufacture of conventional plastics and generates 68% fewer greenhouse gases and contains no toxins making it a sustainable packaging solution.
Glass Packaging Solutions
Glass is a traditional yet sustainable option. It's inert, 100% recyclable, reusable, and refillable; and it's beautiful. The perfect material for premium skincare and cosmetics brands that want to opt for a classic packaging solution that’s both aesthetically pleasing and sustainable.

Aluminium is an ideal packaging solution for a luxury brand wanting to achieve a sleek, professional and attractive look. As well as being visually appealing, aluminium is lightweight and 100% recyclable!
