As Design Plus is a subsidiary of Laleham Health & Beauty, every month we partake in the 'Laleham Loves It' Scheme in which employees are nominated for going above and beyond their every day role. On a monthly basis, colleagues must make their submissions, and there is one winner across each site. The winner receives not only group wide recognition, but a £50 voucher. Then, the director team chooses a national winner, who are rewarded with a meal out or weekend away to the value of £200 as a small thank you.
The scheme encourages employees to nominate someone they have seen do something brilliant, and in line with our 4 core values; safety, integrity, partnership and excellence.
At the end of each year, all winners across the 3 sites are entered in to a prize drawer, of which one lucky employee is selected at random to receive a £2000 holiday voucher. The destination is entirely down to the winner, as a treat for them and their family and a well deserved break for going above and beyond!
In 2019, we were super pleased to announce that the winner was from Design Plus Health & Beauty, and was presented with the fantastic prize on our final day in the office before the Christmas break. Jerzy, the lucky winner supervises our blending department, and was nominated for showing excellence, by the site quality manager. Jerzy went above and beyond to query a batch of bulk for one our lines, which led to an investigation on our stock and ERP system. Well done Jerzy, for leading by example!
